Dr. Priyanka Kori
Associate dentist
Dr. Kori grew up in India watching her mother, an endodontist, provide care for patients. Dr. Kori saw how grateful patients were to get relief from their pain. She decided she wanted to provide the same relief for patients.
Dr. Kori achieved her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in India in 2007. She then completed her Master’s degree in Public Health from Boston University School of Public Health in 2010.
Her next accomplishment was graduation from the University of Southern California’s Advanced Standing Program for International Dentists to qualify her to be licensed in the United States.
Dr. Kori’s first-ever job was as an associate dentist in India.
Hometown: Mumbai, India.
The first job I ever had: Assistant librarian.
Why did you decide on the dental field? My mom is a dentist and she would let me help her mix cement and mix amalgam in her office when I was very little. I loved using her instruments. I would see her patients come in crying with pain and leaving happy and smiling and so grateful and I wanted to make that kind of difference and impact in people's lives.
Hobbies and interests: Spending time with my babies, singing, painting, reading and traveling.
What is something people don’t know about you? I play 5 instruments as part of my Indian classical music training.
What is your favorite food? Indian food, Greek food and spicy fried chicken!
